Al-Jubouri emphasized that digital transformation, despite its benefits, has created an environment exploited by certain entities to manipulate data away from traditional oversight. He called for the necessity of developing oversight mechanisms to keep pace with these modern financial crimes by employing artificial intelligence technologies and big data analysis, stressing the importance of updating legislation and training specialized personnel to enhance transparency and limit the exploitation of technology in illicit practices.
