Administrative Error Threatens the Academic Future of Wasit University Students Amid Calls for Ministerial Intervention

A number of psychology students at Wasit University issued an urgent appeal following a decision to transfer them to universities in other governorates after reaching their third academic year, due to an administrative error in their initial admission process. The students explained that the decision forces them to transfer to alternative colleges and undergo an academic equalization process, imposing additional burdens that may set them back to square one despite completing two years of study. The affected students appealed to the Ministry of Higher Education and relevant authorities for urgent intervention to find a legal solution that guarantees their right to complete their studies within their governorate, considering their social and employment circumstances and sparing them the consequences of administrative errors they did not commit.
