dijlahpoint - Leader of the Sadrist movement Muqtada Al-Sadr issued on Thursday (September 10, 2026) a set of directives regarding Najaf governorate, warning against religious and health violations and banning the commercial use of images of the Al-Sadr family.

Al-Sadr called for strict monitoring of markets, restaurants and shops to ensure products comply with religious and health standards, stressed the wearing of hijab by female workers in public transport, particularly flights heading to Najaf, and urged the prohibition of forbidden goods as well as anything contrary to divine and human laws.

He also announced an absolute ban on the use of Al-Sadr family images in all commercial fields, affirming that the reputation of the Al-Sadr family and of Najaf are red lines that must not be crossed under any circumstances.
