Competent governmental and judicial authorities supervised a large-scale destruction operation of previously confiscated narcotics and psychotropic substances. The operation involved the destruction of approximately 239 kilograms of various types of illicit drugs, in addition to thousands of banned pills and strictly controlled medical substances. The destruction process took place inside specialized, high-temperature incinerators to ensure the final and chemically safe disposal of these toxins. This step is part of a comprehensive national strategy implemented by the relevant authorities to ward off the threat of narcotics and curb their spread within society.
