The Council of Ministers issued a package of strategic decisions during its regular session, targeting vital service and economic files to support the government program. The decisions included a two-day official holiday to facilitate the reverse grouping of Arbaeen pilgrims, and the activation of the water framework agreement with Turkey. In the energy sector, the Council authorized the Ministry of Oil to sign memorandums of understanding to export oil via the Mediterranean Sea, discuss the development of the Akkas gas field, and announce the integrated Qayyarah project. The Council also approved important recommendations to develop electrical infrastructure and support allowances for scholarship students to elevate the educational sector.
