Informed political sources revealed on Friday that preparations are underway for a decisive meeting of the Coordination Framework leaders early next week, aimed at scheduling a parliamentary session to vote on the vacant ministerial portfolios in Prime Minister Ali Al-Zaidi's government. Coordination Framework member Abdul Samad Al-Zarkoushi stated in press briefings that current understandings are progressing towards a final agreement to schedule the expected session late next week. He confirmed a political consensus on the necessity of accelerating the completion of the cabinet lineup after overcoming various obstacles. Al-Zarkoushi emphasized the importance of resolving the remaining ministries, particularly the security ones, to ensure effective management of state affairs. It is noteworthy that the Parliament granted a vote of confidence to Al-Zaidi's government in mid-May with 14 ministers, while the vote on 9 key sovereign and service ministries was postponed pending a consensus.
