This came during a field visit Al-Salhi conducted to the South Region Electricity Directorate, where he met with senior staff to closely examine the supply situation and assess grid stability. During the meeting, plans to rehabilitate main transmission lines and distribution networks were reviewed to improve the quality of services provided to citizens, as well as enhancing the capacities of power stations. These moves are part of the joint coordination between the legislative and executive authorities to ensure that Basra province, across all its districts, receives its full entitlement of energy.
