The President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, held an extensive meeting today in Erbil with the Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi, to discuss developments on the regional and Syrian fronts. The meeting focused on reviewing the current political and security situation in the northern and eastern regions of Syria, as well as discussing the status of the Kurds in the area. Both parties exchanged views on a number of issues of mutual interest, emphasizing the importance of strengthening coordination and cooperation mechanisms to confront the rapid challenges and changes taking place in the region, amidst the ongoing complex interactions among various regional and international powers.
