During his meeting with the Secretary of the Russian National Security Council, Al-Araji emphasized the Iraqi government's keenness to develop bilateral cooperation tracks, conveying the greetings of the Iraqi leadership to the Russian leadership. He stressed Iraq's firm stance in supporting de-escalation in the Middle East, adopting dialogue and diplomatic solutions as a fundamental pillar for consolidating regional peace and stability, and revealed plans to hold a new round of meetings of the joint Iraqi-Russian committee.
