dijlahpoint - The Ministry of Defense announced on Sunday, September 13, 2026, that General Staff Lieutenant General Jassim Mohammed Alwan, the General Military Inspector, chaired the expanded weekly conference of officers of the General Military Inspection Directorate.

In a statement, the ministry said the conference discussed a number of key axes aimed at identifying the most prominent current challenges facing military work and proposing practical solutions to develop the capabilities of the armed forces across all branches and formations.

The statement added that the conference emphasized adherence to professional standards to strengthen the three pillars of inspection: educational, auditing, and combat readiness, while laying out the necessary plans to raise the combat and administrative level of all units and diagnose obstacles hindering the development of military units.

The ministry noted that the General Military Inspector stressed the need for inspectors to serve as instructors in various field and specialized circumstances, free from personal favors, while ensuring reports are completed in accordance with the directives issued by the Inspection Directorate, reflecting the units' ability to carry out their assigned missions under all conditions.
