Gold and Dollar Prices in Iraqi Local Markets

Gold prices in local markets witnessed stability, in conjunction with the continued rise of the US dollar exchange rates in the local market, while an ounce of gold recorded 4700 dollars.

The selling prices of the mithqal in local markets came as follows:

18-carat mithqal: 857 thousand dinars 21-carat mithqal: one million dinars 22-carat mithqal: one million and 48 thousand dinars 24-carat mithqal: one million and 143 thousand dinars

In a related context, the US dollar exchange rates continued to rise in the exchanges and exchange offices of the capital, Baghdad.

The data showed that the dollar exchange rate reached a selling price in Baghdad exchange offices of 154,500 dinars per 100 dollars, compared to 154,250 dinars for the purchase price.

As for Erbil, selling prices recorded 154,000 Iraqi dinars per 100 US dollars, while the purchase reached 153,500 Iraqi dinars.

In Basra Governorate, dollar selling prices recorded 154,250 Iraqi dinars, while purchase prices recorded 153,750 Iraqi dinars per 100 US dollars.
