Parliamentary sources confirmed a serious government intent to disburse delayed financial dues to farmers immediately following the Eid al-Adha holidays. This assurance came after meetings and discussions between the Ministries of Agriculture and Finance to ensure the swift completion of necessary administrative procedures. The sources indicated that supporting the agricultural sector is a top governmental priority, requiring the provision of all facilities and the timely settlement of dues exceeding one trillion Iraqi dinars, in order to ensure the sustainability of local production and bolster the country's food security.
