The President of the Supreme Commission for Hajj and Umrah, Sami Al-Masoudi, issued a directive to waive the administrative and technical fees required for the electronic Hajj lottery registration. The decision aims to ease the financial burden on citizens following public appeals. The Commission announced that digital transactions for collecting these fees will be halted immediately, and previously paid amounts will be refunded electronically without requiring physical visits to official departments.
Additionally, the Commission reiterated that lottery wins are strictly non-transferable, warning citizens against fraudulent social media pages offering unauthorized transfers, and confirming that legal action will be taken against violators.
