The Supreme Commission for Hajj and Umrah announced its decision to fully refund registration fees to applicants who were not selected in the electronic Hajj lottery. The Commission explained in an official statement that the refunds will be processed according to approved mechanisms, reassuring applicants that no fees are collected from those not selected. The Commission had previously outlined the regulations for the upcoming years, noting that priority will be given to elderly citizens aged 45 and above who have not previously performed the pilgrimage, in coordination with legislative authorities to ensure fair opportunities.
