dijlahpoint - The International Energy Agency announced on Friday (September 11, 2026) that it expects a continuous oil supply deficit in the global market until next year.

The agency said in a statement that global oil markets will suffer from a persistent deficit that is expected to worsen in the coming period as a result of the continued and expanding conflict in the Middle East, explaining that global supply fell by around 95 million barrels last month.

The agency indicated that it does not expect Gulf states' export levels to recover during the current year, stressing that recovery may begin next year, hoping that exports will return to their normal levels before the outbreak of the conflict.
