Al-Lami emphasized the necessity for the legislative authority to support oversight bodies by enacting supporting laws and developing the legal framework. For their part, the MPs renewed their absolute support for the Commission's efforts as the first line of defense against corruption, confirming their commitment to legislating and amending necessary laws to enhance the effectiveness of integrity measures.
