Supplies of imported Iranian gas have resumed flowing into Iraq, recording 18 million cubic meters daily, following a supply disruption crisis that recently disrupted power generation plants. This came after partially settling outstanding debts to ensure continuous provision.

This breakthrough, according to sources from Dijla Point News, contributed to supporting the reliability of the national electricity grid, as the system added more than 2,500 additional megawatts to its total production.

This improvement resulted in a noticeable reduction in scheduled power outage hours in Baghdad and other provinces, which positively impacted the stability of commercial and industrial activities and eased citizens' suffering.
