Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian acknowledged on Friday the existence of internal divisions within the country, warning against hostile parties capitalizing on these differences, and stressing the need for officials to assume their national responsibilities toward the Iranian people. During a meeting with medical professionals in Tehran, Pezeshkian called for transcending disputes and uniting ranks to serve citizens and advance national development and consensus. He pointed out that continued government subsidies for the fuel sector might impact allocations for essential goods and pensions, criticizing irresponsible statements made by individuals lacking awareness of the nature of state institutions' operations. In a separate context, the Iranian President described the outcomes of the negotiations with the United States as a significant achievement endorsed by the Supreme National Security Council. At the same time, he asserted that Tehran would not succumb to pressure or threats and would resist fiercely, calling for an end to the state of tension from a position of strength.
