In a press statement, Khamenei stated that the American enemy is the primary cause of instability in the region, noting that the Iranian people will not accept any aggression from the enemy. He added that Tehran shares a common destiny with its Gulf neighbors, and that it will work to secure the region and eliminate enemy violations of the waterway, indicating that foreigners who commit evil have no place except in the depths of the water. He explained that the American presence in the territories of countries overlooking regional waters is the main source of insecurity, noting that the new administration of the Strait of Hormuz will bring calm, progress, and economic benefits to all Gulf states.
