The President of the Iraqi Supreme Judicial Council affirmed his country's direct support for reconstruction and development efforts in Syria at various levels, expressing the Iraqi judicial institution's readiness to provide all forms of assistance to the Syrian side in the legal and judicial sectors. This came during a joint meeting held in Damascus with the Syrian Minister of Justice, where emphasis was placed on Iraq's support for Syria's steps in building state institutions. For his part, the Syrian Minister of Justice praised the upward trajectory of bilateral relations, expressing Damascus's aspiration to expand the frameworks of legal and judicial partnership with Baghdad during this critical phase.
