dijlahpoint - The Minister of Water Resources headed the Iraqi delegation participating in the activities of the ninth edition of Cairo Water Week, with wide participation from ministers and representatives of international and regional organizations to discuss water sustainability dossiers.

Participants discussed ways to address water scarcity crises and climate changes, and exchange modern technical and technological expertise in the sustainable management of water bodies and the development of modern irrigation policies.

The Iraqi side emphasized the importance of joint regional and international coordination to ward off environmental risks, ensure the sustainability of water security, and support sustainable development efforts in the region.
