The Iraqi Ministry of Finance has issued a package of urgent directives aimed at addressing accumulated financial files and improving the living and economic conditions in the country. The directives included instructing the competent departments to audit and complete the necessary administrative and financial procedures to release the promotions and step increases for educational staff and all state institution employees, in response to continuous demands to resolve this issue. On the economic front, the Ministry emphasized the necessity of accelerating the disbursement of delayed financial dues to farmers and contractors. This step comes as part of government efforts to support the national agricultural sector and inject the necessary liquidity to mobilize developmental and service projects, thereby contributing to driving the local economy and overcoming bureaucratic obstacles.
