The Israeli Army launched a wave of intense and consecutive airstrikes on the southern suburbs of Beirut, targeting infrastructure and residential buildings, according to a Dijlah Point News correspondent.
The Israeli military issued urgent evacuation orders to residents of large neighborhoods in the suburbs prior to the strikes, resulting in thick smoke billowing over the Lebanese capital. Additionally, one person was killed in an airstrike targeting a residential apartment in the Hazmieh area near Beirut.
On the ground, the Israeli army officially announced the arrest of two fighters from Hezbollah's "Radwan Unit" in southern Lebanon and the confiscation of their weapons.
