The Kuwaiti army announced that two drones launched from Iraq targeted two border posts in the north of the country, causing material damage without any human casualties. Defense Ministry spokesman Colonel Saud Abdulaziz Al-Atwan said in an official statement that two sites from the northern land border centers were targeted in the morning by an aggressive attack using two explosive drones. A Kuwaiti military statement indicated that assessment of the material damage is still ongoing, while no human losses were recorded at the time of the statement's issuance. Observers suggest the drones were guided by laser fiber technologies, indicating a precise and deliberate targeting of these two centers which are part of a series of border posts spread along the Kuwaiti-Iraqi border. It is worth noting that Kuwait has been subjected to dozens of drone and missile attacks since the outbreak of war between America and Israel on one side and Iran on the other, launched by Tehran-backed forces in Iraq.
