Parliamentary representatives for Karbala announced that the Ministry of Electricity has approved the provision of necessary infrastructure, including 150 transformers, cables, and maintenance materials, as well as an increase in power supply hours during religious pilgrimages. The approval also includes supplying agricultural areas in the Ain Al-Tamur district with mobile and fixed power stations to support farmers. Additionally, a request has been forwarded to settle the financial dues for the Electricity Distribution Company in Karbala, amounting to approximately 205 billion dinars, of which 35 billion dinars have already been paid.
