The Ministry of Oil has revealed a strategic plan to transport a portion of southern oil production through northern pipelines, aiming to increase export rates to over 700,000 barrels per day, in accordance with agreements signed with Turkey. The Ministry stated that discussions are ongoing to expand comprehensive economic cooperation with neighboring countries. Concurrently, government delegations are holding talks with Iranian counterparts to ensure the smooth movement of oil tankers through the Strait of Hormuz, with expectations of reaching agreements that will protect and facilitate maritime shipments. Increased financial revenues will be directed toward developing national infrastructure in the health, education, and transportation sectors.
