The Ministry of Oil announced the signing of an integrated management contract to develop the Bin Umar and Sindbad fields with the American company Halliburton, as part of the Ministry's strategy to increase oil and gas production capacities. The contract spans a period of five years and aims to raise crude oil production in the Bin Umar field to 150,000 barrels per day, in addition to producing 300 million standard cubic feet per day of associated gas. The Ministry affirmed its commitment to providing all forms of support to overcome obstacles and ensure the contract's success, noting its continued expansion of partnerships with major international companies to bolster the national energy sector.
