The Ministry of Trade has announced the launch of all ration card services through its dedicated mobile application, a step aimed at streamlining procedures and eliminating the need for citizens to visit government offices in person. The final phase included activating the transfer service across all provinces and the Kurdistan Region. Despite encountering temporary technical challenges due to high pressure on electronic payment systems, the ministry confirmed that the issues were resolved and the service is now stable. Additionally, a ministerial committee has been formed to refund amounts erroneously deducted due to failed payment transactions, ensuring citizens' rights are protected while continuing to develop the digital infrastructure.
