The House of Representatives announced the initiation of an in-absentia interrogation of the Chairman of the National Investment Commission, Haider Makkiyah, due to his failure to appear before the Council. The Council held its first session of the second legislative term in the first legislative year of the sixth electoral cycle, chaired by Speaker Haibat Al-Halbousi. The agenda included the swearing-in of several replacement MPs, in addition to discussing other vital files on the agenda.
