Parliamentary bodies specialized in financial affairs announced that a final resolution has been reached regarding the delayed salaries crisis for thousands of contractors in the education sector in Basra Governorate. The concerned committees confirmed that, in coordination with the relevant executive and financial authorities, all administrative obstacles have been overcome and the financial disbursement procedures have officially commenced. It was noted that efforts continue to resolve all remaining administrative matters to ensure such delays are not repeated in the future, with an emphasis on the importance of this issue in providing living stability for the contractors' families and fully securing their employment rights.
