dijlahpoint - The Badr parliamentary bloc demanded relevant government authorities take swift and urgent steps to fully reopen Al-Shaib border crossing and remove all administrative and technical restrictions hindering smooth operations at Al-Shalamcheh crossing.

The bloc affirmed in an official statement that continued closure and restrictions leave negative and direct repercussions on the economic and living conditions in the southern governorates, calling for translating government directions into concrete actions ensuring the movement of goods and commodities without obstacles or external dictates.

It stressed the importance of protecting local markets, the interests of merchants and earners, and supporting commercial stability and bilateral exchange to serve mutual interests.
