PMF Anbar Operations Commander and 6 Others Killed in Airstrike Western Iraq

Seven Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) members, including the Anbar operations commander and his deputy, were killed and 13 others injured early Tuesday in an airstrike targeting a PMF headquarters east of Ramadi, according to sources speaking to Mada Al-Rafidain News.

The PMF mourned its casualties in an official statement, holding the United States responsible for the airstrike. Concurrently, the PMF announced that two other members were injured in an airstrike in the Jurf al-Sakhar area of Babylon province.

These developments occur as Iraq turns into an active clash zone, with armed factions launching frequent drone and missile attacks on US bases and interests in Baghdad and Erbil in response to US strikes.
