The Chairman of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), Falih Al-Fayyadh, asserted that the PMF has evolved into a cohesive national force representing all components of Iraqi society, emphasizing its pivotal role in protecting the country's sovereignty and supporting security stability. In an official statement marking the anniversary of the Sufficient Defense Fatwa, Al-Fayyadh praised the historic role of the Supreme Religious Authority, which saved the country from an existential threat. He also commended the sacrifices of the martyrs and the various branches of the security forces that united to achieve victory. Al-Fayyadh renewed his pledge to continue developing the administrative and military systems of the PMF, adhering strictly to the constitution and the directives of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, ensuring that the PMF remains a professional national institution and a strong pillar of the Iraqi state.
