The President of the Republic, Nizar Amedi, received the Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Maher Al-Tarawneh, at Baghdad Palace to discuss the latest security and economic developments in the region. The meeting reviewed methods to expand bilateral cooperation across various vital fields to serve the highest interests of both brotherly peoples. During the discussions, the President emphasized that regional stability serves as a fundamental pillar for comprehensive economic development and safeguarding the interests of its peoples, calling for enhanced coordination to confront current challenges. For his part, the Jordanian Ambassador reaffirmed his country's commitment to ongoing joint efforts and supporting Iraq's security and stability.
