Prime Minister Assures Iranian Foreign Minister of Iraq's Commitment to Ending Conflicts Through Dialogue

Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi received Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and his accompanying delegation to discuss regional developments, bilateral relations between Baghdad and Tehran, and various files of mutual interest. The meeting reviewed the recent agreement to halt the war between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States, alongside regional and international efforts to enforce security, ensure stability, and respect state sovereignty and territorial integrity. The Prime Minister emphasized that Iraq strongly supports prioritizing the end of wars and relying on dialogue and negotiations to consolidate regional stability, which enhances development opportunities for neighboring nations. For his part, Araghchi reaffirmed his country's support for Iraq, stressing the importance of joint coordination to strengthen bilateral cooperation and reiterating Tehran's dedication to building strong relations with regional and neighboring Arab countries.
