This came during an official visit he made to St. Joseph's Church in the capital, Baghdad, where he extended congratulations to His Beatitude Patriarch Younan III Nona on his inauguration as Patriarch of the Chaldean Church. During the meeting, the Prime Minister emphasized the government's commitment to strengthening national cohesion among all components, affirming that Christians represent a fundamental and historical pillar in the structure of Iraqi society. For his part, His Beatitude the Patriarch expressed his wishes for the government's success in performing its duties and leading the country towards stability and prosperity.
