The Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi, commended on Wednesday the national stance of the National Shiite Movement leader, Muqtada al-Sadr, regarding the detachment of "Saraya al-Salam" and its full integration into the state. The Prime Minister affirmed in an official statement that this responsible initiative significantly contributes to consolidating the rule of law and enhancing the prestige of state institutions, stressing that supporting security apparatuses and confining weapons to official entities are fundamental pillars for achieving internal stability. He also extended an open invitation to all armed factions to adopt the same national approach and operate under the umbrella of constitutional institutions, affirming that the current phase requires unified efforts to ensure Iraq's sovereignty and preserve its security and stability.
