Real Estate Registration Initiates Comprehensive Database Preparation to Support National Housing Initiative

The Real Estate Registration Directorate has announced the start of technical and administrative preparations to create an integrated database containing information on property-owning citizens across all its directorates. This move is part of the government's efforts to support the requirements for implementing the initiative to distribute one million residential plots. The Director General of the Directorate, Ibtisam Raheem Abdullah, confirmed in an official statement that this measure comes in implementation of the Ministry of Justice's directives, and in support of the initiative launched by Prime Minister Ali Al-Zaidi aimed at addressing the country's housing crisis. She explained that the primary goal of creating the database is to accurately organize real estate records and facilitate the legal and administrative procedures related to the distribution process, ensuring the lands reach the rightful beneficiaries. She pointed out that all branch managers and specialized committees have been instructed to expedite the necessary preparatory measures, complete technical work requirements, and enhance the level of joint coordination with supporting government institutions and entities. She emphasized the Directorate's commitment to completing this strategic national project with the utmost speed and accuracy to ensure the success of the government initiative.
