Resumption of Commercial Activity by Giant Chinese Shipping Company Towards Iraqi Ports

One of the most prominent maritime shipping companies in China has decided to reactivate its bookings and direct its commercial maritime operations once again towards Iraqi ports such as Umm Qasr, alongside other Gulf ports, after a precautionary halt.

This step constitutes a guarantee for the stability of Iraqi markets, as it allows the continuous flow of goods, foodstuff, and industrial supplies at reasonable shipping costs, avoiding supply shortage crises.

In a statement to Dijla Point News, the company confirmed its determination to keep navigation lines open and safe to serve the growing trade exchange between Iraq and China, despite the ongoing security challenges in the Gulf waters and the Strait of Hormuz.
