In the local market, the price of a 21-karat gold mithqal registered 937,000 IQD, and 18-karat at 804,000 IQD, while 22-karat reached 982,000 IQD, and 24-karat was priced at 1.070 million IQD. Concurrently, US dollar exchange rates witnessed a noticeable increase, with morning trading in Baghdad recording 152,700 IQD per $100, whereas exchange rates in the Kurdistan Region markets reached 153,400 IQD per $100.
