The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly criticized statements issued by Western countries, particularly France, regarding internal judicial procedures in Iran, describing these stances as "blatant and embarrassing hypocrisy." Tehran called on Paris to stop interfering in its internal affairs, pointing to the contradiction in Western positions on human rights and international law issues. This came in response to a joint statement issued by more than 30 countries condemning recent executions in Iran. For their part, Iranian authorities emphasized that the judicial sentences target individuals convicted of espionage and collaboration with hostile intelligence agencies, amidst the ongoing intelligence and security escalation in the region.
