Dijlah Point - Former Minister of Communications, Hiyam Al-Yasiri, criticized the decision to ban flights with Iran, stating that Iraq's compliance with foreign dictates will cause severe financial losses to the state budget, especially amid the current revenue crisis. In a statement, Al-Yasiri explained that the decision would deprive thousands of patients from continuing their medical treatment and prevent students from pursuing their studies. She added that these measures violate international law and were not issued under UN resolutions, calling for adherence to international law to ensure Iraq's sovereignty and independent decision-making.
