dijlahpoint - The General Directorate of Narcotics Affairs executed a qualitative intelligence operation outside national borders, resulting in dismantling an international drug trafficking network, arresting its four members, and seizing large quantities of drugs.
The directorate explained that the operation came as a result of accurate intelligence tracking that enabled security detachments to lure a network member in a neighboring country and trap him red-handed, leading to the arrest of the rest of the involved persons.
This operation affirms the security authorities' commitment to pursue cross-border organized crime networks and dismantle their activities in cooperation and joint coordination.
