dijlahpoint - The General Authority of Customs announced the completion of the first and second phases of the ASYCUDA system project with a full completion rate, confirming its continued implementation of the third and final phase within a strategic plan extending until the end of 2028 to complete the digital transformation of the customs system.
The authority explained that the system has been applied in a wide range of land, sea, and air customs centers, coinciding with the development of electronic payment systems, smart monitoring, risk management, and electronic linkage with relevant authorities.
It indicated that the third phase focuses on establishing a single window system for foreign trade and unifying electronic procedures between government institutions and the banking sector, contributing to reducing manual procedures, facilitating trade movement, and enhancing non-oil revenues.
