dijlahpoint - The Federal Intelligence and Investigations Agency announced the dismantling of a network involved in drug fraud and counterfeiting its trademarks, seizing more than 300 thousand items and tools used in manufacturing and packaging adulterated preparations, along with arresting a number of suspects in the capital, Baghdad.
The operation came following accurate intelligence information regarding the presence of a workshop for repacking materials used in drug fraud and packaging them in containers bearing global trademarks before distributing them to warehouses and pharmacies.
The agency explained that a security force carried out the raid after completing judicial procedures, seizing the adulterated materials, packaging equipment, and labels, and referring the suspects to the judiciary to take legal measures against them, affirming the continuation of efforts to protect citizens' health security.
