Security authorities announced the successful thwarting of an attempted armed attack, locally known as a "Tribal Daka," thanks to a rapid response and a precise ambush executed in the capital, Baghdad. Competent authorities explained that a joint force managed to intervene immediately following an altercation that left one citizen injured. A tight security cordon was established, leading to the interception of a suspicious vehicle. During the operation, five suspects planning to carry out the assault were arrested, and firearms including three Kalashnikov rifles and a pistol were confiscated. All necessary legal measures have been taken against the detainees, and they have been referred to the justice system.
