Civil defense teams successfully brought under full control a fire that broke out in a cardboard factory in the Al-Zariji area of the Shatt al-Arab district. The rapid response resulted in the fire being extinguished without any recorded injuries or human casualties. Competent authorities indicated that the causes of the fire will be determined later by forensic teams, noting concurrently that the facility in question lacked necessary occupational safety and preventive measures, in violation of applicable civil defense laws.
