The Counter-Terrorism Service announced the execution of a series of targeted security operations that resulted in the arrest of two drug dealers. The Service reported that its forces, in coordination with the Directorate of Narcotics Affairs and the Police Command, successfully apprehended the first suspect in Al-Muthanna province, handing him over to the competent authorities. In a separate operation, the second suspect was arrested in Dhi Qar province. Concurrently, the Service forces conducted widespread reconnaissance and search operations covering the districts of Al-Fajr, Al-Fuhud, Suq Al-Shuyukh, and Al-Batha in Dhi Qar to secure the administrative borders with the provinces of Wasit, Al-Diwaniyah, Maysan, Basra, and Al-Muthanna, operating strictly on precise intelligence and official judicial warrants.
