The Counter-Terrorism Service (CTS) announced on Wednesday the initiation of a comprehensive security inspection campaign spanning several governorates, aimed at enhancing stability, pursuing the remnants of terrorist organizations, and destroying their hideouts. The CTS stated in an official release that the operations involve aerial and ground reconnaissance based on precise intelligence information, with the participation of specialized engineering detachments. The campaign covers vast strategic and desert areas, including western Nineveh, Baiji, the Najaf desert, the Nukhaib desert, Qazaniya, Mandali, and Al-Fuhud district, as well as the Muthanna desert and desert areas in Basra. These actions are part of a proactive strategy to elevate security readiness levels and ensure the protection of citizens and public property.
