dijlahpoint - The National Security Service in Basra announced on Thursday the dismantling of a forgery network and the arrest of three suspects, including a primary school principal and a division director in one of the province's districts. The network was involved in forging and processing land compensation transactions for the West Qurna oil field, resulting in the embezzlement of billions of dinars. Authorities seized 36 official stamps belonging to government and tribal entities, large sums of money, and residential properties acquired through this criminal activity. The suspects have been referred to the competent judicial authorities for legal action.
